Creamy Honey Mustard Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 6 Chicken thigh
- 2 Garlic Cloves crushed
- 1 brown Onion diced
- ½ cup Thickened Cream
- ½ cup chicken stock
- 1 Tbsp seeded Mustard
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp Honey
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a large saucepan on medium high heat. Add chicken to pan and cook for 5mins until slightly browned. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
- Add remaining oil to the pan. Then sauté onion and garlic in the pan for 2-3mins until onion becomes translucent. Add both mustards, honey, cream and chicken stock. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Finally add the chicken back in and simmer for 10mins.
- Serving suggestions: Serve on pasta or mash potatoes along side green beans.
