Hoisin Beef Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 500 g Lean Beef Mince
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 brown Onion sliced
  • 1- inch ginger grated
  • Capsicum. sliced
  • 1 large Carrot grated
  • ½ Wombok thinly sliced
  • 400 g Chinese egg noodles
  • ¼ cup Hoisin sauce
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup spring onions finally chopped
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a large fry pan or wok. Add mince and spread it out, allow to cook for 5min without stirring until it begins to brown and caramelise on the bottom. Then toss with the onion, garlic and ginger cooking for 2mins. Add in the carrot and cabbage tossing until just wilted.
  • Meanwhile prepare the noodles as per packet instructions. Then toss the noodles, hoisin sauce and vinegar through the mince mixture. Serve with spring onions and sesames seeds.
