Creamy Honey Mustard Chicken

Serve over mash potato or wholemeal pasta for a delicious winter meal!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 6 Chicken thigh
  • 2 Garlic Cloves crushed
  • 1 brown Onion diced
  • ½ cup Thickened Cream
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • 1 Tbsp seeded Mustard
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a large saucepan on medium high heat. Add chicken to pan and cook for 5mins until slightly browned. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
  • Add remaining oil to the pan. Then sauté onion and garlic in the pan for 2-3mins until onion becomes translucent. Add both mustards, honey, cream and chicken stock. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Finally add the chicken back in and simmer for 10mins.
  • Serving suggestions: Serve on pasta or mash potatoes along side green beans.
