Tahini Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Almond meal
  • ½ Baking soda
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 160C.
  • Whisk together the almond meal and baking soda in a bowl and then stir in the honey, tahini and vanilla to for a dough. Roll 1 Tbsp of mixture into a ball in the palm of your hands and then roll in the sesame seeds to coat.
  • Place on a lined baking tray 3cm apart. Roll the remaining biscuits and place on a tray. Use the base of a glass to gently press down on the biscuits to flatten to 1cm thick. Bake in the oven for 10-12min.
