It’s our mission to

Grow healthy kids with a good relationship with all foods – because life’s too short to cut out cake. Here at Good Little Eaters we think eating your veggies is just as important as forming a healthy and sustainable relationship with all food. We use evidence based strategies to transform your child’s eating behaviour and make mealtimes a breeze. We also create clarity around the foods you need to include in your kids diet and how to create a balanced approach to food where everything has a place – yes we mean sugar!

We are passionate about building Good little Eaters that last a lifetime which is why we focus on your child’s eating behaviour and nurture their intuition around food to develop their relationship with food for the future.

With over 10yrs+ experience in nutrition and kids health, Shelley is passionate about simplifying mealtimes and taking the overwhelm out of feeding your kids. She gets that there are so many ways to find the information, but wants it all in one easy to access place you know you can trust! Shelley has a Bachelor of Food Science and Nutrition and a Masters of Public Health nutrition which was the start of her journey to helping parents transform their child’s eating habits and teach kids about food without the side of diet culture.

‘Delicious Recipes’

Shelley has always offered me the support and food ideas I’ve needed to ensure my toddlers are eating wholesome, nutritious and delicious foods; as well as ways to assist with the ever changing likes and dislikes that toddlers are known for which is really good for my peace of mind! Me and my 3 year old love getting stuck in the kitchen together and making your delicious recipes! Thankyou! X

‘Trying new things’

Shelley’s good eats program was super easy to follow. The lessons and recipes gave me inspiration again after a busy year and falling into the pre-packaged snacks trap I’d been in! My toddlers are great at trying new things but Shelley helped me to work on avoiding the throwing behaviours by giving us permission to play. Since doing that, we rarely have a meal that’s thrown in it’s entirety!!! Shelley knows so much about the process. She is funny and insightful and her down to earth approach allowed me to be vulnerable. It was a process that asks one to look at eating behaviours that you’ve brought from your childhood and to do better. I can honestly say, Shelley and her program helped me to stay on the right path with my toddlers and help them continue trying new things, eat veggies that they’d refused and most importantly, create positive meal associations. Thank you Shelley for your advice and support!

Do you avoid packaged snacks for your kids? Do you worry about the ‘extensive’ ingredients list that you can’t pronounce? I get it, it can be overwhelming. BUT good news! You don’t need to avoid them all together.
