Last minute Christmas Gift Guide from a Nutritionist

Christmas is just around the corner, so get the express post ready to for your last minute gifts and stocking fillers. Christmas is such a fun time for kids, and a time where they often get LOTS of presents so why not make sure a few of them are sending a good lesson and can be put use everyday.

This Gift Guide isn’t filled with your usual toys, but instead filled with practical gifts for your kids that they are still bound to love!

Lunchbox:

Everyone loves a new lunch box and I just can’t go past the Bbox Disney range. They have everyone covered with their Frozen and Toy story lunchboxes. Start using them on the holidays to pack snacks and get kids ready to eat out of a lunchbox when they start back at school or kindy!

Love from J – Tricky the Triceratops:

I LOVE everything about Love from J, and Tricky the Triceratops is no different. Teach your kids to spread kindness, make beautiful memories have fun with their new best friend! Tricky also has a cousin Ulana the unicorn or a unicorn snuggle for younger kids!

Baking Kit:

If you have been around here for a while you know I am a big advocate for getting your kids in the kitchen and baking – whether it be something healthy or their favourite cookies, cooking with your kids sets them up with skills for the future. So why not gift them their very own baking set to get them excited about baking! I couldn’t go past these one from Kaiser craft. They are just adorable!

Body love book:

If you haven’t got your hands on this book yet, you are missing out! The Body love book teaches kids to love their body and most important teachings them however every body is different and has different abilities! It is my go to resources for starting the conversation with kids about body love and respect.

Fruit and Veg Toys

I couldn’t not include these trusty staples of any play box. I have a set of the fruit and the veg kids from Kmart hidden away in my office cupboard and when my 3yr old nephew comes over he runs straight for the cupboard to find them. Not only is this gift  fun and colourful block set, they help kids engage with fruit and vegetables in different ways and kick off their knife skills with the wooden knife and chopping board included!
